حمایت آمریکا از بیانیه «ائتلاف آزادی آنلاین» در محکومیت محدودیت اینترنت و فیلترینگ گسترده در ایران
آنتونی بلینکن، وزیر امور خارجه آمریکا، روز پنجشنبه در توییتی از بیانیه «ائتلاف آزادی آنلاین» در محکومیت محدودیت اینترنت و فیلترینگ گسترده در ایران حمایت کرد.
وزیر امور خارجه آمریکا در توییتی نوشته است، به دنبال آغاز اعتراضات به قتل غم انگیز مهسا امینی، حکومت ایران همچنان دسترسی به اینترنت را محدود میکند.
آنتونی بلینکن تصریح کرده است، ایالات متحده همصدا با «ائتلاف آزادی آنلاین» از ایران میخواهد محدودیتها را لغو کند و به حقوق آنلاین (شهروندان) احترام بگذارد.
FOC Issues Joint Statement on Internet Shutdowns in Iran
Today, the Freedom Online Coalition (FOC) issued a Joint Statement on Internet Shutdowns in Iran.
Endorsed by all 34 member states of the FOC, the joint statement strongly condemns the measures undertaken by Iran to restrict access to the Internet following the nationwide protests over the tragic killing of Mahsa Amini.
The FOC calls upon Iranian authorities to refrain from imposing partial or complete Internet shutdowns and blocking or filtering of services and to respect Iran’s international human rights obligations, including under articles 19, 21 and 22 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
The Coalition has previously expressed deep concern over the growing trend of intentional state-sponsored disruptions of access to or dissemination of information online in its Joint Statement on State Sponsored Network Disruptions, published in 2017.
To improve coordination among like-minded countries, civil society and the private sector, to anticipate, address and respond to Internet shutdowns, the FOC established the Task Force on Internet Shutdowns (TFIS) in 2021. The Task Force is chaired by FOC Advisory Network members’ Access Now and the Global Network Initiative (GNI), alongside the US State Department.
Diplomatic coordination and multi-stakeholder engagement is at the core of the FOC’s efforts to address issues threatening Internet freedom, including Internet shutdowns. This week, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation hosted FOC member states, the Coalition’s Advisory Network, and external stakeholders to coordinate activities and discuss strategies to advance human rights, both online and offline, worldwide.

۳۴ کشور عضو «ائتلاف آزادی آنلاین» روز پنجشنبه با صدور بیانیهای اقدام حکومت جمهوری اسلامی در قطع اینترنت به دنبال اعتراضات اخیر را محکوم کردند.
در این بیانیه «ائتلاف آزادی آنلاین» آمده است: تمامی اعضای این ائتلاف « اقدامات حکومت ایران برای محدود کردن دسترسی به اینترنت در پی اعتراضات سراسری به قتل غم انگیز مهسا امینی را به شدت محکوم میکنند. »
این ائتلاف از جمهوری اسلامی ایران خواسته است، از قطع جزئی یا کامل اینترنت و مسدود کردن یا فیلتر کردن سرویسها خودداری کند و به تعهدات خود بر مبنای حقوق بشر بینالمللی از جمله بر اساس مواد ۱۹، ۲۱ و ۲۲ میثاق بینالمللی حقوق مدنی و سیاسی احترام بگذارد.
ائتلاف آزادی آنلاین گروهی متشکل از ۳۴ کشور در سال ۲۰۱۱ به ابتکار وزارت خارجه هلند تأسیس شد. این نهاد بین المللی از طریق همکاری جامعه جهانی برای پیشبرد آزادی اینترنت تلاش می کند.
جمهوری اسلامی همزمان با سرکوب اعتراضات جاری در ایران، محدودیتهای اینترنتی را شدیدا افزایش داده و اینستاگرام و واتسآپ را فیلتر کرده است.
اتحادیه اروپا و آمریکا با محکوم کردن این سرکوبها، وزیر ارتباطات جمهوری اسلامی را در فهرست تحریمهای خود قرار دادهاند.
همچنین در میانه سرکوب اعتراضات، جمهوری اسلامی ایران کرسی خود در شورای اتحادیه جهانی مخابرات را از دست داد.
اتحادیه بینالمللی مخابرات (آیتییو) وابسته به سازمان ملل متحد کمک به شکوفایی ارتباطات در جهان را دنبال میکند.
